Tell The Wolves I'm Home part 2

I finished this book for my book club. Book club isn't until August 2nd. I'm not sure what the book club will want to talk about in regards to this book. I thought it was a very good book.

I liked the point of view. It was told from the point of view of a 14-year-old girl. I don't think it could have been told by any of the other characters.it wasn't an objective point of view. She really loved her uncle. The voice of the main character seemed very real to me. However, her sister didn't seem as real to me. The sister snuck out a lot, drank, smoked, was very mean to her sister. I guess people really act like that. I have just not experienced anything like that. I didn't act like that as a teenager.

I would recommend this book to others. I think it teaches the reader about acceptance. I think that is the major theme if the book. Accept people for who they are. It's an important lesson.
